What is BAKE?

BAKE (Boston Area Kodály Educators) is a chapter of OAKE (Organization of American Kodály Educators). BAKE is guided by the philosophical concepts of Zoltan Kodály.  BAKE's primary purpose is to provide professional development opportunities open to all music educators. BAKE directly supports educators who seek to explore the philosophy, structure, and application of Kodály-based music education and improve their musicianship. BAKE seeks to promote the application of Kodály-inspired music education in the greater Boston area.
